Three former Purdue students are being charged with an assortment of crimes — among them, conspiracy to commit computer tampering and conspiracy to commit burglary — after a collective four years of unabashed grade-changing that elevated two students from straight F’s to nearly straight A’s.

Warrent issued for animal cruelty

A warrant has been issued for a 49-year-old man for animal cruelty after his dog died from being left in the man’s vehicle with the windows rolled up, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.

The Bloomington Police Department arrested Bradley Roby, an Ohio State defensive back, on a misdemeanor battery charge early Sunday morning at Kilroy’s Dunnkirk.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on July 22 for receiving and storing child pornography on his phone of a 14-year-old girl he met on the internet, Bloomington Police Department’s Sgt. Joe Crider said.
