Rumblefish expensive, well served fare

·

As a general rule, fish restaurants can be divided fairly easily into two groups: dive-like fish-fry joints and the overly pricey formal fish restaurants. Dive-worthy fish places are great: There is nothing better than sitting on old rickety benches with a motley assortment of locals while eating fish that you swear was caught only minutes ago.

It's gonna be a good season

·

This year's race for the Big Ten football title is already shaping up to be good one despite the fact none of teams have played a game yet. Six of the 11 teams have been ranked in the top 25 in preseason polls, with Michigan and Ohio State both cracking the top 10. Last season, Michigan State wasn't ranked in the preseason polls and then simply won seven of its first eight games, including wins over Minnesota and Iowa on the way to a top-15 ranking. So who will be this year's surprise team of the Big Ten?

The joy of budget travel

·

In 2000, I spent two weeks touring England and Scotland and fell in love with the adventure travel creates. I'd always wanted to go back to Europe and see more. The opportunity to travel to Europe came alive my sophomore year at IU. I'd researched the variety of programs the Office of Overseas Study had to offer where you could study in the land by which you've always been fascinated and get college credit at the same time.
