Senior starting pitcher Kyle Hart went the distance for the third time in his career Friday. He allowed just one unearned run while scattering four hits in the series opening 7-1 victory against Iowa. Hart was supported on the mound by three Hoosier home runs in the game to extend IU’s win streak to a season high seven games. “The quality at-bats are really helping us,” Hart said.

Behind Young Pioneer: the first all international team to participate in the Little 500

Young Pioneer is the first full foreign team to participate in the Little 500 race, but to them, it is more than just participating in a race. The team failed to qualify in 2015, and Carl Field, volunteered to be their coach after reading about the team in an article from The Herald Times.
