Minorities of the world unite

·

Whenever I hear white heterosexual men complaining about how hard they have it nowadays, I tend to dismiss it as the usual self-pitying whining of ruling-class wannabes when their privileges are challenged. But the other night when I went to Kilroy's to meet some friends for a 21st birthday celebration, what I saw and heard there made me begin to wonder.

Throughout this week's practice, IU's wrestlers prepared for Sunday's dual at No. 9 Ohio State. A 39-0 loss to fifth-ranked Illinois one week ago serves as their motivation. What will it take for No. 20 Indiana to recover from Sunday's loss and upset the Buckeyes? For head coach Duane Goldman, the answer is simple.

Jesse Jackson's actions deplorable

·

During the last few years, it has been easy for conservatives to tune Jesse Jackson out. It's obvious to many Jackson is the P. T. Barnum of racial politics, thriving because of Barnum's tenet that there is a sucker born every minute. We just accept that.
