Zipcar is a car-sharing service that started in 2004 in Europe. Students and faculty can join Zipcar by registering on the website, www.zipcar.com. After filling out an application, the company sends members a Zipcard, used to access the cars.

Latina artist to unveil paintings at IMUG for Hispanic Heritage Month

B.E. Gutierrez, a young Latina artist, created a series of paintings titled “My Fire” for her exhibition in the IMU Gallery, or IMUG. The gallery opening will be at 6 p.m. Friday in the IMUG. The exhibit will be on display until Oct. 15, the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month.
