It is perhaps fitting that the inaugural Dungy-Thompson Humanitarian Award, named in part after a former IU running back, has been awarded to another former Hoosier running back.

RPS offers transgender, coed housing opportunities

IU has between five and 10 transgender students on campus. IU is working to renovate the dormitories on campus to make transgender students’ housing situation easier, as well as make housing better for all students, said Sara Ivey Lucas, assistant director for housing assignments.   



5 arrested at Kelley protest

A group of protesters blocked the door to the Cohort Classroom, Room 1050 in the Godfrey Graduate and Executive Education Center, where bank executives were recruiting business students. Sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of the room’s door, protesters blocked anyone from entering the room.

Murder by Death debuts new music at the Bishop

Now, Murder By Death is back in Bloomington, where it began more than a decade ago, and is holed up writing songs for the album to be recorded in January. The band will debut several new songs Friday at the Bishop.

Blood drive calls for equality

The Sigma Phi Beta fraternity, along with the Secular Alliance, will put on the Blood Drive for Equality from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in Kelley School of Business 307 to bring awareness to the men who have sex with men (MSM) blood donation ban that is currently in effect.

Student admits role in NY SAT fraud case

IU sophomore Adam Justin is facing accusations of fraudulent standardized test taking after his connections to a group of alleged cheaters were revealed. He now faces possible legal woes and disciplinary action from the University.
