Indiana embarrassed by Michigan State

Thanks to 296 yards from quarterback Kirk Cousins and the Michigan State passing game, the Spartans romped past IU 55-3 Saturday at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Mich.

Bye week allows team to heal from nagging injuries

Defense makes strides in 34-20 loss to No. 16 Ohio St.

After Ohio State’s true freshman quarterback, Braxton Miller, put the Buckeyes on the board with the longest quarterback run in OSU history — 81 yards — the difference between the teams was never more than seven points until the final minutes. IU Coach Kevin Wilson said he wasn’t surprised at how close the game was, despite the 27.5-point spread.

IU loses to Ohio State, 34-20

The Hoosiers entered Ohio Stadium as 28-point underdogs and left just short of beating the Buckeyes for the first time since 1988. True freshman quarterback Tre Roberson threw an interception in the final minutes as IU trailed 27-20, which led to a Buckeye touchdown drive to make it 34-20, which stood as the final score.
