After stepping off of a bus, a 19-year-old male victim was walking around the reported area when a 16-year-old male, who the victim said was an acquaintance, and two other unknown males reportedly began battering him.

Birthday celebration leads to assault on Saturday

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1600 block of North Willis Drive where a woman was allegedly damaging her brother’s pickup truck with a hammer, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Ian Lovan said.

Sexual assault reported at Motel 6

Patrons in the Motel 6 complex indicated an “extremely impaired” 37-year-old woman staying in a room. The motel manager went to the room to conduct a welfare check and confirmed the woman was intoxicated and nearly passed-out.

Arrest made after domestic dispute turns violent

A domestic argument turned violent early Monday morning and resulted in arrests on three preliminary felony charges for a 27-year old man, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.
