U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations launched Operation Predator, which shares with the public photos of and information about fugitives and suspected child predators.

Woman punches man during attempted robbery

The 47-year-old woman reported to police at about 2:30 p.m. she was walking on a gravel road east of the B-Line Trail. Two men approached her and one of them attempted to steal her backpack when she punched him in the face.

Pharmacy evacuated after bomb threat Friday

An unidentified suspect called CVS Pharmacy, 2701 E. Third St., at 5:11 p.m., Friday and said there was a bomb on the property, said Sgt. Ian Lovan of the Bloomington Police Department.
