Lauren Marie Siniard, 22, faces a preliminary felony charge of theft and larceny after admitting to BPD Detective Randy Gehlhausen Tuesday that she was aware of how audits within the company were conducted.

A group of three men reportedly jumped a Stadium Crossing resident Sunday evening in the parking lot of the complex formerly known as the Villas. The group then reportedly demanded the victim’s car keys at gunpoint and drove away in the victim’s silver Kia Soul.

A woman reported a possible rape during early morning hours Sunday after she left a local bar, the Video Saloon, with a man she met.


Woman who reported possible rape might not pursue charges

The woman, 23, told police she had been out at the bars during the early morning hours of Wednesday when she met a man and returned to his residence with him, Kellams said. She fell asleep on his bed, she told police, and woke up to the man having sex with her.



Child molest case reported to BPD

The victim told police that in April 2012, a 39-year-old male known to her family was at her residence on the north side of Bloomington, and the two were watching a movie, BPD Sgt. John Kovach said.


Bloody sword found, alleged backstabber arrested

Bloomington police officers entered a South Madison Street residence at about 10:30 p.m. Friday to find a man lying face-down in the living room next to a sword coated with what appeared to be blood.

A female reported a sexual assault at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Steve Kellams said.


Bloomington Transit receives bomb threat

Bloomington Transit passengers were evacuated from buses Tuesday morning after the company received a bomb threat by telephone at about 10:30 a.m.
