Woman reports 2011 sexual assault

A 19-year-old female reported on May 9 that she had been sexually assaulted at her West side residence in early April 2011.

She was 17 at the time of the incident.

The alleged victim told police that she had been assaulted by her roommate’s boyfriend. She was asleep in her room and was woken by the suspect sexually assaulting her.

The case remains active as police continue the search for the now-25-year-old male suspect.
