An IU freshman was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he attempted to force his way into a house on the 900 block of South Manor Road.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake deadline approaches

Students only have eight more days to register for the 20th annual IU Bowl For Kids’ Sake. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana during which teams pledge to collect $500 for the drive. The event culminates with a bowling celebration on Feb. 27 and 28 at Suburban Lanes, 2634 N. Walnut St.

Free HIV testing available as part of AIDS Awareness/Safe Love week

Two IU football players were arrested for disorderly conduct Sunday morning after police warned the men to quiet the music and voices coming from their apartment.

University launches 47 new podcasts

Podcast.iu.edu streamed its way onto campus last week. The Feb. 4 launch date brought a total of 47 podcasts and 507 episodes to the new Web site, which is a portal for all IU podcast content.

Ratliff need to figure out what is best for Ratliff in regards to his future on the IU men’s basketball team. Ratliff has not traveled with the team to the past two games and was dealing with “personal issues.”

IU beats Ohio State behind D.J. White’s 21 points

Hoosier forward White outshines Buckeye big man in Sunday win

D.J. White firmly fixed his eyes on Ohio State freshman Kosta Koufos just seconds after Koufos fouled White when the senior forward threw down a two-handed slam. For a second, Buckeye guard Jon Diebler tried to step between the two to prevent anything from happening. Even one official pulled White, IU’s senior forward, aside to try to calm him down.
