Although Republicans have gained control of the U.S. House of Representatives, IU professor James Perry said it’s not necessarily a win for the GOP. Independent voters who supported Democrats in 2006 and 2008, swung to the Republican Party in Tuesday’s midterm elections, according to a study conducted by the Wall Street Journal.
