Student ballet graces the Buskirk-Chumley

The Choreography Project ran at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater Wednesday and Thursday, showcasing some of the talent of the dancers and student choreographers of IU’s Ballet Department. Dances ranged from traditional ballets to more contemporary ones.

Residents of Collins LLC dance to the music of local band Go, Go Gadget! Saturday afternoon in the Collins Courtyard during CollinsFest. The annual event included several other bands, free food, tie-dying t-shirts and other activities.

The first M435: Italian Theater Workshop ran its final project, “Illustrissimi IU Italian Players,” this weekend in the Willkie Auditorium to many attendees who didn’t know any Italian.

Students perform "A Strange Peace" Saturday evening at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Composed by graduate student Jonathan Sokol and choreographed by junior Utam Moses, the piece was one of fourteen original student works in the "Hammer and Nail" performance.
