The No. 37 IU women’s tennis team used wins at the bottom of its singles lineup to notch a 4-3 win at Kentucky on Saturday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio --- Freshman DeShaun Thomas scored 22 points, two points less than his career high, and No. 2 Ohio State cruised past IU 82-61 on Sunday at Value City Arena.

For the IU women’s basketball team, Sunday’s 2 p.m. game against Iowa represents the chance to end a 9-18 season on a high note. It will be the Hoosiers’ final regular season game before they travel up to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Tournament on March 3.

The No. 44 Hoosiers (9-3) will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to face No. 25 Vanderbilt, a team that features the nation’s No. 57 singles player, Ryan Lipman, and two top-40 doubles teams.

Humble Brewer ignores critics at NFL Draft Combine

James Brewer earned praise when he reportedly dominated the competition at the Senior Bowl last month. Sports Illustrated said he “established himself as the best blocker at the event.” Now he is in Indianapolis for the NFL Draft Combine.

Hoosiers post best single-round total in 13th place finish

After going into the final 18 holes of competition Tuesday in the Central District Invitational in 13th place, the IU women’s golf team held suit and defended its position, finishing 13th with a final round score of 299, the team’s best single-round total this spring.
