Beck Chapel, the small non-denominational chapel located in the heart of campus, was built in 1956 out of Indiana Limestone and wood from the forests of South Centeral Indiana. No regular services are held in Beck Chapel, however it is often used for wedding ceremonies and other special occassions. Current IU President Michael McRobbie married his wife, First Lady Laurie Burns-McRobbie, at Beck Chapel in 2005. Courtney Deckard
