IU-Ferris State: Free throws the difference

IU had a tough time making shots Monday night - unless it was from the foul line. The Hoosiers made 23-of-28 free throws in their 78-65 victory against Ferris State, led by a perfect 12-of-12 effort from sophomore forward Christian Watford. By contrast, Ferris State was 20-of-38 from the charity stripe. From Nathan Hart: The Hoosiers needed overtime, but IU dropped Division II squad Ferris State, 78-65 on Monday in the team's final exhibition game. Freshman guard Victor Oladipo capped a 12-point comeback with a 4-point play in the game's final minute to tie the score at 61. Ferris State's Jerrell Sanders hit a basket as time expired in what appeared to be the game-winner, but the officials ruled that it was after the buzzer sounded. In overtime, IU dominated.
