IU tight end Ted Bolser announced via Twitter Monday afternoon that he has been cleared to play this weekend against Ohio State.

In the Hoosiers' game last Saturday against Michigan State, Bolser was ejected after a fourth quarter punt when he reportedly made illegal contact with a referee. According to Big Ten officials, though the conference reserves the right to suspend players after in-game ejections, there is no automatic suspension rule.

After reviewing Bolser's dismissal, the Big Ten concluded that he did not need to be suspended for an additional game. He was listed at the top of the weekly depth chart IU released earlier on Monday. The Hoosiers face the No. 8 Buckeyes on Saturday in IU's third night kickoff of the year at Memorial Stadium.

Thus far during the 2012 season, Bolser has caught 15 passes for 161 receiving yards and one touchdown. He has also started all five games for the Hoosiers from the tight end position.
