For those of you not into the World Cup, and since today is a much slower news day compared to the excitement of yesterday, I thought we would start a discussion on the what-ifs--if Coach Izzo does leave Michigan State. Especially because several other websites have mentioned Crean as an option.
How many of you think that Crean would bolt for a program that is ready to win now? I saw a couple of comments on the site that mentioned wanting Crean to leave, and that they wanted a past Hoosier, such as Alford as the new coach. Personally, I think if Crean did leave, which I don't think he would, that the program would be devastated, and IU would be set back 4-5 more years. As a life-long Hoosier fan, I don't want to see IU basketball take another hit again.
