Freshman Walker Stadler pitched six quality innings in his debut, striking out five while only giving up seven hits and three runs.
Alex Dickerson and Jerrud Sabourin each hit home runs. For Dickerson, it is his second of the year.
Closer Chris Squires picked up his first save of the season, shutting the door by throwing the final two innings.
The Hoosiers are now 1-3 after opening weekend and will head to Florida next weekend for the Big Ten/Big East Challenge.
