Bobby Capobianco, Loveland (OH) - Loveland won its third straight game on Friday, defeating Anderson 62-47 behind 25 points from Capobianco. The Tigers fell to 0-2 in Capobianco's debut on Dec. 9, but the IU recruit has led Loveland to a 3-2 record, scoring 17, 18 and 25 points, respectively, in the Tigers' last three contests.
Maurice Creek, Hargrave Military Academy (VA) - Hargrave improved to 12-1 with a 'W' against Patrick Henry CC on Wednesday. In the 83-73 victory, Creek had 14 points and three steals. Hargrave returns to action Jan. 11.
Derek Elston, Tipton (IN) - Tipton, No. 2 in the Class 2A poll, is now 6-0 following a Friday night win versus Westfield. The Blue Devils won 76-53, though I have not been able to find any stats. Elston scored 24 points in their fifth game, last Saturday, however, and Tipton has a home game with Mt. Vernon tonight.
Jordan Hulls, Bloomington South (IN) - The Panthers rolled over Lawrence Central, 70-49. Hulls and sophomore IU recruit Spencer Turner each scored 14 points. South looks to make it two wins in two days with a Saturday home contest with Jeffersonville.
Bawa Muniru, Mt. Zion Christian Academy (NC) - Mt. Zion beat Pace Academy from Chapel Hill, 54-50, on Friday. They are 7-2 now, though no stats are available.
Christian Watford, Shades Valley (AL) - The Mounties fell to 11-2 after an overtime loss to Pinson Valley 76-70 last night. Watford scored 31 points, following a 33-point and 20-rebound effort in a win last Monday.
