While the Hoosiers remained in chilly Bloomington, four teams traveled to Frisco, Texas for the College Cup.
St. John's, Maryland, North Carolina and Wake Forest made it to the Final Four of College Soccer. The No. 13 seeded Tar Heels upset the top-seeded Demon Deacons 1-0 to advance to the final match. No. 2 Maryland disposed of No. 3 St. John's 1-0 to face their conference rivals.
In the finals, Maryland defeated North Carolina 1-0 for its second national championship since 2005 and its third total.
