IU recruit Christian Watford sat out most of the second and third quarters of a game yesterday due to foul trouble, but still ended up with 16 points, four rebounds and two blocks. The Shades Valley (Ala.) star scored seven of his points in the fourth quarter. Shades Valley won by 12.
In four wins since signing with IU, Maurice Creek averaged nearly 22 points for Hargrave Military Academy.
Bloomington High School South (Jordan Hulls) and Tipton High School (Derek Elston) tip off later this month. Loveland High School (Ohio - Bobby Capobianco) opens play Dec. 5. Mt. Zion Academy (Bawa Muniru) should have played two games by now, though no scores have been reported.
