The latest Coaches and AP rankings are changed, but IU is still off both of their radars. (One random note...Arizona State is undefeated? How did this happen? I couldn't name one player on ASU or Kansas...and collectively they're 14-0. I feel like a terrible sports fan.)

The Big Ten Network revealed their latest POWER RANKINGS, IU remains ninth. (This could be debated, but right now i'd agree with that.) The BTN does bring up an interesting question about James Hardy. They suggest if he were on a traditional power he would be getting Heisman consideration.

I decided to look a little bit more into this...and when I say I looked into it I mean my roomate Derek told me about THIS SITE that ranks wide receivers purely by numbers in a fantasy football-like point system. To them Hardy is fourth in the nation in points, (Behind the absurd Michael Crabtree of Texas Tech whose numbers are insane.) After looking at this site I wouldn't consider Hardy a hesiman candidate, even if he played for a 'big time' program. I do expect that he'll get strong consideration for the Biletnikoff award, which goes out annually to the best wide receiver in the country. And if the votes were tallied today I would be surprised if he wasn't one of the three finalists.

(Other notes from this fantasy website, Kellen Lewis is ranked 3rd for QUARTERBACKS, and Austin Starr is ranked 2nd for KICKERS.)

This is a little dated, but just in case you haven't seen it...before the Michigan State-IU game a DEER sneaked onto the field and supposedly got into the Indiana locker room. I um...I don't really know what else to say other than this has to be the most random thing that will happen to the Hoosiers this year.

In my opinion IU's homecoming crowd was the loudest Memorial Stadium has been this year. But from everything i've youtubed its not going to come close to the atmosphere that awaits the Hoosiers when they play at WISCONSIN. yikes
