We are running a story in tomorrow's paper about the Sampson press conference held today, but there were two quotes which I wanted to put up now.
Q: Do you ever take time to make phone calls to Rod when he gets cut or something like that
Sampson: "You be careful with that word."
The room erupted with laughter after that comment from Sampson. He went on to say that Rod is likely going to play in the NBDL this season, so we will try to keep up with that story as it develops.
The next quote is from D.J. White when asked if he reads the papers and internet about the violations.
White: "I read the IDS everyday; it's just something I do. I mean, I read it everyday before class. I see what's in there, but like I said, there is nothing I can do about that."
D.J. White reads the IDS everyday, so should you! That also got a laugh in the press-room and some good-natured ribbing from the other reporters.
