Members of the Hoosier football team need nicknames. I think they've got to that point. And i'm not talking about lame nicknames like, "MT" for Marcus Thigpen or "G-Mid" for Greg Middleton - Nicknames like that are both lazy and dumb. We can do better.
I've already taken the liberty of referring to fullback Josiah Sears as "Mr. Excitement," mainly because he either un-gracefully plows into someone or tries to jump over them, maybe he fumbles the ball to Kellen Lewis...either way its usually pretty funny.
But there are other guys who need some nicknames. Namely:
* James Hardy
* Kellen Lewis
* Greg Middleton
* Tracy Porter
I got nothing so far, I know quarterbacks coach Matt Canada refers to Lewis as "Spot" because he thinks he has a receeding hairline, but i'm not sure i'm sold on that one.
This is now the unofficial voting for nicknames for some of these players, I have faith that together we can come up with some good stuff (for at least one of these guys.)
