The selection Sunday show on CBS is just about wrapping up. If you haven't heard yet, IU snagged a No. 7 seed in the West bracket and will be facing No. 10 Gonzaga in Sacramento, Calif. on Thursday.

I think IU made it out OK here. The Hoosiers are certainly no lock to beat the Bulldogs, but there are a lot of real tough games amongst the eight and nine seeds including: No. 8 Kentucky vs. No. 9 Villanova in the West and No. 8 Arizona vs. No. 9 Purdue in the Midwest. So, I think it could have been worse.

Seth Davis of CBS just picked Gonzaga as one of his "sleeper" teams. Take that for what it's worth. If you remember last year, IU as a No. 6 seed reached the second round of the tourney only to be knocked out by No. 3 Gonzaga 90-80 in Salt Lake City. I'm sure all the players on last year's sqaud haven't forgotten that.

Eamonn should be filing a post after he's done over at Coach Sampson's crib, so expect that within the next few hours.

See you then.
