As No. 2 Indiana men’s soccer paused Big Ten action last week, matches against the University of Kentucky and Hanover College brought the Hoosiers’ victories on and off the field.

The two game stretch provided three goals and two assists to senior forward Oliver Moller-Jensen was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday for the second time this season, per a conference announcement.

Moller-Jensen scored both the equalizer — a 63rd-minute penalty kick — and the game-winner — 72nd minute header assisted by junior forward Stephane Njike  — in Indiana’s 3-1 comeback win over Kentucky on Oct. 6.

“We need to keep going and keep shooting,” Moller-Jensen said after the Kentucky game. “We kept shooting, we kept putting pressure and getting at them and then, eventually, it went in.”

As the Hoosiers welcomed Hanover on Oct. 9 for senior night, Moller-Jensen tallied a goal and two assists — all in the first half — as Indiana cruised to a 7-0 victory. Moller-Jensen's second assist resulted in senior forward Collins Oduro’s first of four goals of the match.

Moller-Jensen also recieved the award on Aug. 25 after scoring five of Indiana’s first six goals of the season in wins over the University of Notre Dame and the University of Evansvile.

In his first season at Indiana, Moller-Jensen has accumulated a team-high 10 goals to accompany four assists through 13 matches. The Florida Atlantic University transfer also leads the Hoosiers with 56 shots and 22 shots on goal.

“I’m not surprised that Oliver’s leading us in scoring,” head coach Todd Yeagley said after the Kentucky game. “They (transfers) came here to do something bigger and better than they felt they could do at their last school.”

With Indiana remaining undefeated, Moller-Jensen's unchanging offensive production has lifted the Hoosiers to the conference’s second-best offense, scoring 31 total goals, trailing only No. 14 Washington.

Moller-Jensen and the Hoosiers will travel to Piscataway, New Jersey, for a matchup with Rutgers on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. from Yurcak Field. Coverage will be on B1G+.
