Bloomington PRIDE Board & Committee Members
Through community-based events and services, Bloomington PRIDE creates safe and inclusive spaces, celebrates queer arts, and challenges stereotypes to enrich LGBTQA community culture. Help coordinate, fund, and market Bloomington PRIDE’s annual programming by volunteering for one of their coordinating or board member positions.

Friend’s Place Shelter Volunteers
Beacon, INC. is looking for volunteers to work a weekly, 2-hour shift at Friend’s Place, their emergency overnight shelter serving individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will assist staff with checking guests in for the night, handing out toiletries and various over-the-counter medicines, light cleaning, and other tasks needed to ensure a smooth check in.
Please Note: Volunteer shifts at Friend’s Place take place from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. each day.

Bingo Calling for Seniors
Cedar Creek of Bloomington hosts bingo games for their residents every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 2:30pm. The staff is looking for a volunteer willing to be the bingo caller for these games. Duties would include calling the numbers and interacting with the seniors.

Materials for the Arts Wish List
Help Monroe County Solid Waste District divert reusable materials from the waste stream to be reused by local nonprofits by fulfilling a wish from the Materials for the Arts Wish List. Wish list items include shopping carts in good condition, craft and art supplies, yarn, shells and assorted rocks, and more.
