Don't miss out on the 40th anniversary of Culture Shock - WIUX's annual free music festival.

For 40 years, Culture Shock has been WIUX's yearly music and culture festival that brings together the Bloomington community to enjoy a wide variety of musicians. It will be held in Dunn Meadow at Indiana University Saturday, April 11th from 12:00 - 9:00 PM EST. Don't miss out on this great community event to explore booths from local businesses and artisans, spend time outside, and listen to great music!

  • Twin Lilies (12:00pm-12:35) - Math rock emogaze from Bloomington IN (Winners of this past fall's Battle of the Bands)
  • DJ Superstar (1:00-1:45pm) - alternative dance dream-pop from Bloomington, IN
  • Tile (2:15-3:00) - Ambient/electronic from Indianapolis, IN
  • Verity Den (3:30-4:15pm) - Ethereal indie-rock from Carrborro, NC
  • Simple Syrup (4:45-5:30pm) - Downtempo, electronic dream-pop from Columbus, OH
  • Wishy (6-6:35) - Dreamy jangle pop from Indianapolis, IN
  • DJ Immaterial (7-7:45pm) - Ambient electronic from Chicago, IL
  • Hatchie (Headlining at 8:10pm) - Dream-pop from Brisbane, Australia (WIUX’s headliner)
