After finishing the regular season 23-7 overall and clinching a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 15 years, five Hoosiers on the Indiana volleyball team were honored by the Big Ten on Tuesday.

Senior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles, senior opposite hitter Avry Tatum and freshman setter Teodora Kričković were selected to the All-Big Ten first team, marking the first time in program history that three Hoosiers were selected in the same season.

Indiana is one of five conference programs with three or more members named to the All-Big Ten first team.

Alonso-Corcelles became the winningest player in program history after a win over Illinois on Nov. 26. She leads the Indiana offense with 361 total kills on the year and an average of 3.47 kills per set. However, Tatum is close behind, with 336 kills and an average of 3.23 kills per set. Tatum recorded 21 matches with at least 10 kills and tallied 57 blocks on the season.

Indiana also recorded another program first as two Indiana freshman earned All-Big Ten freshman team honors in Kričković and outside hitter Jaidyn Jager. The duo’s been vital to the Hoosiers’ offense this season as Kričković tallied over 1,100 assists and averaged 10.66 assists per set through the regular season, while Jager accumulated 348 kills and held an average hitting percentage of .243. Together, the pair has helped the Hoosiers hold a team hitting percentage of .280.

Jager also earned a spot on the All-Big Ten second team, while junior setter Luca Fickell was named Indiana’s selection as the Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree.

The Hoosier’s four athletes selected to All-Big Ten teams in 2025 are the most in a single year in program history. The previous record was in 2023, when setter Camryn Haworth, middle blocker Kaley Rammelsberg and libero Ramsey Gary were selected.

Indiana will look to extend its record-breaking season when it hosts the University of Toledo in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at approximately 5:30 p.m. Thursday inside Wilkinson Hall in Bloomington. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
