After finishing the regular season with an overall record of 23-7 and 14-6 in the Big Ten conference, Indiana volleyball earned a No. 4 seed for the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Since Indiana received a top-16 spot, the Hoosiers will host the first two rounds in Bloomington.

The Hoosiers are set to face the University of Toledo in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 inside Wilkinson Hall. Toledo holds an overall record of 23-10 and 11-7 in the Mid-American Conference.

The tournament bid marks the first NCAA tournament appearance for the Cream and Crimson since 2010 and the first appearance under eighth-year head coach Steve Aird. In the Hoosiers' last tournament appearance, Indiana won its first two contests to advance to the third round before getting swept by the No. 6-seeded USC.

This year, the Hoosiers’ offense has been a strong point, holding a .280 hitting percentage. The efficient offense has been largely led by its trio of pin hitters in freshman Jaidyn Jager and seniors Candela Alonso-Corcelles and Avry Tatum.

Alonso-Corcelles leads with 361 kills on the season and holds an average of 3.47 kills per set. However, Jager and Tatum are close behind. Jager has tallied 348 total kills with an average of 3.35 kills per set while Tatum has 336 total kills and averages 3.23 kills per set.

For the first time since 1999, Indiana ended the regular season with a top-five finish in the Big Ten. It’s the first Big Ten program to finish in the top five after being projected 10th or lower in preseason since the conference began picking a full preseason poll in 2014.
