FBI Indianapolis agents made four drug and firearm-related arrests Monday across several locations in connection to their raid of a unit at Maxwell Terrace Apartments in Bloomington.
FBI Indianapolis Public Affairs Officer Chris Bavender said in a statement to the Indiana Daily Student that two people were arrested at Maxwell Terrace and the other two arrests occurred at different residences in Bloomington. Of those arrested, three were men and one was a woman. All four had initial appearances in the Indiana Southern District Court on Monday in Indianapolis.
Indiana Southern District Court Public Information Officer Doria Lynch said the four's court documents are not yet available to the public.
Bloomington Police Department officers were also on the scene at Maxwell Terrace Apartments to provide security support, BPD Captain Ryan Pedigo said.
Pictures of the incident provided to the Indiana Daily Student by a Maxwell Terrace resident show several police cars, both marked and unmarked, stationed in the apartment complex parking lot Monday morning.
Bavender said the FBI cannot release the identities of the four people arrested at this time.
This story was updated to clarify locations of the Monday arrests.
