Snow could fall over Bloomington on Sunday, NWS predicts

Potential snow is expected in Bloomington on Sunday night, marking the first snowfall of the season.  

Rain is forecasted to fall Saturday night, continuing into Sunday, followed by rain and snow showers, according to the National Weather Service 

The NWS predicts a 50% chance of snow and rain as of Friday, with showers starting around 1 p.m. Sunday. 

During the day on Saturday, forecasters predict a high of 61 degrees. Rain is expected to start at 7 p.m. that night, and precipitation will continue into Sunday.  

Weather on Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a 50% chance of precipitation and wind gusts up to 22 mph during the day, and 20 mph at night. NWS forecasts a high of about 42 degrees and a low of about 26 degrees.  

Total precipitation is expected to be less than 0.1 inches on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will continue to drop Sunday night into Monday, with a low of 26 degrees early Monday morning.  

Monday is expected to reach a high of 37 degrees around 4 p.m.
