Four-star power forward Latrell Allmond, previously Indiana men’s basketball recruiting target, committed to Oklahoma State University on Monday — his 19th birthday — he announced on CBS Sports.

Allmond chose Oklahoma State over Indiana, Maryland, the University of Tennesse and the University of Virginia. Allmond is Cowboys head coach Steve Lutz’ second 2026 recruit, elevating Oklahoma State’s class to 10th, according to 247 Sports.

The Cream and Crimson offered Allmond — a Richmond, Virginia, native — in early May, and he visited Indiana in mid-June.

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Allmond is ranked as the 27th-best player in the country, according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. He’s the sixth-best power forward and second-best player in Maryland.

Allmond spent his first three years of high school at John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia. But when his head coach, Ty White, took the same job at Petersburg High School, Allmond followed him ahead of his senior season.

On the 2025-26 adidas 3SSB circuit, Allmond is averaging 7.3 points and seven rebounds per game.
