Circle Mentoring

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington is seeking volunteers 18 years and older to become Circle Mentors. Circle Mentoring is a unique style of mentoring that is especially appropriate for developing adolescents. The primary purpose is to create a safe space to develop the competency and character needed to explore and achieve important life goals. Volunteers are paired with a Lead Mentor and will help to facilitate the circle. Volunteers will give 2 hours a week during the school day to attend the Circle at a local High School. Training is required. Volunteers will not be left alone with youth or be in charge of them.

Volunteer at T.C. Steele State Historic Site

Just a few miles east of Bloomington, opportunities abound! Volunteers 18 years and older are needed for several volunteer roles, including Programs & Events, Tour Guides, Office Assistance, and Museum Shop Support. T.C. Steele State Historic Site also offers an Internship program during Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Available shifts: between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Wednesday-Sunday

Mini Pantry Assistants

Pathways is seeking volunteers to support families in need by helping with their new mini pantry! As a Mini Pantry Assistant, volunteers will guide families, assist with item selection, and load bags into their cars. Your help will make it easier for parents to pick up their groceries and other essential resources. Volunteers are requested to make a 6-month commitment.

Available shifts: 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
