The historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater is excited to announce the launch of its Blockbuster Decades Film Series, a celebration of iconic films from the 1970s through the 2010s. Running throughout August, the series invites movie lovers to relive some of the most beloved, thrilling, and memorable films of the past five decades—on the big screen where they belong.
The series kicks off on Thursday, August 8 at 7 PM and continues every weekend through August 22. Each screening highlights a cinematic milestone from a different decade:
- ? Dog Day Afternoon (1975) — Thursday, August 8 @ 7 PM
- ? The Goonies (1985) — Friday, August 9 @ 7 PM
- ? Seven (1995) — Thursday, August 15 @ 7 PM
- ? Batman Begins (2005) — Friday, August 16 @ 7 PM
- ? Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) — Thursday, August 22 @ 7 PM
