A meet and greet at Big Red Liquors at 418 N. College Ave. with Ian Somerhalder, previously scheduled for March 7, will now be held from 3-5 p.m. Thursday.

In 2021, the former “The Vampire Diaries,” actor Somerhalder and his co-star Paul Wesley created their own brand of bourbon called “Brother’s Bond Bourbon.”

Previously postponed due to illness, Somerhalder will now be at Big Red Liquors on Thursday to promote his brand of bourbon. The first 200 ticket holders in line at the event will have the opportunity to meet and take a picture with Somerhalder. They will also be able to purchase a signed bottle from him for $34.39.

The event has restrictions for anyone who decides to attend the event. Bringing in outside merchandise, such as posters, to be signed will not be allowed. Snapchat and FaceTime calls are also not permitted. All attendees must be 21 or older and show a valid ID in order to attend the event.

While the event is currently sold out, people are able to go to the store afterward to purchase a bottle of the bourbon. More information can be found on the event’s website.
