The meet and greet previously planned with Ian Somerhalder to promote his new bourbon brand from 4-6 p.m. on March 7 at Big Red Liquors has been postponed. The Upstairs Pub posted Wednesday on their Instagram that he will be postponing the event due to illness.
Best known for his role as one of the Salvatore brothers in the TV series “The Vampire Diaries,” Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and his co-star, Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), created their own brand of bourbon in 2021. “Brother’s Bond Bourbon” is meant to represent the friendship and brotherhood between the two actors on and off screen.
The event has yet to be scheduled for a later date, but event organizers are working closely with Somerhalder and his company in an attempt to reschedule, according to The Upstairs Pub post.
