Ian Somerhalder will promote his bourbon brand, “Brother’s Bond Bourbon,” at Big Red Liquors from 4-6 p.m. March 7.
Best known for his role as one of the Salvatore brothers in the TV series “The Vampire Diaries,” Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and his co-star, Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), created their own brand of bourbon in 2021. “Brother’s Bond Bourbon” is meant to represent the friendship and brotherhood between the two actors on and off screen.
Sourced and commissioned in Indiana, they use 100% natural ingredients, such as corn, rye, wheat and barley. It was their goal to create a bourbon that was smooth and easy to drink with an abundance of rich flavors. The first 200 people in line on the day of the event will be given the opportunity to meet Somerhalder in person and purchase a signed bottle of his bourbon for $34.39. All attendees must be 21 or older and have a valid ID in order to attend the event.
The signing of outside merchandise, such as posters, will not be allowed for those attending the event. FaceTime calls, Snapchat and custom videos are also prohibited. The event is currently sold out, but attendees can still attend without the promise of meeting Somerhalder. More information about the rules for the event can be found on the event website.
