Indiana men’s basketball senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday, per a Big Ten release. The award, which he shared with Penn State senior guard Camren Wynter, was his fifth of the season, making it an Indiana record.

The award is the eighth of his career, extending his own record.

Jackson-Davis averaged 26.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in two games against Iowa and Michigan last week.

In his final game at home, Jackson-Davis scored 27 points and was vital to Indiana’s senior day victory over Michigan. He also broke the program’s rebounding record in the loss to Iowa.

Jackson-Davis' five honors are second in the Big Ten this season to Purdue junior center Zach Edey’s six, and nobody has more than Jackson-Davis' five since Big Ten play began.

Indiana freshman guard Jalen Hood-Schifino is the only other Hoosier to win a Player of the Week award this season.
