IU School of Nursing appointed Dr. Wendy Miller as the associate dean for the Bloomington campus, replacing interim dean Dr. Eileen Hacker beginning March 1, according to an IU School of Nursing press release.

Miller attended the IU school of nursing as an undergraduate and taught courses in the school at the beginning of her career, according to the release. She joined the school’s full-time faculty in 2012, serving in various roles including associate professor and Ph.D. coordinator. Miller is also a director-at-large for the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and has leadership positions with the Epilepsy Foundation and the American Epilepsy Society.

“As an IU School of Nursing alumna, I’ve always been proud to be an IU nurse,” Miller said in the release. “I’m excited to work with our tremendously talented faculty – who are nationally and internationally recognized in their areas of expertise – our supportive staff and our incredible students to share the magic that is Indiana University.”
