The Indiana women's basketball team huddles before the start of their game against Wisconsin on Jan. 10, 2021, in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Indiana announced Jan. 12 that freshman guard Keyarah Berry would be parting ways with the program.

Freshman guard Keyarah Berry is departing the Indiana women’s basketball program, according to a release from the team Wednesday. Berry will continue her academic pursuits at IU.

Berry played a total of five minutes across three games this season, her only season with the team.

She is the second player to part ways with Indiana this season after senior guard Caitlin Hose left the program to focus on completing her master’s degree in December 2021.

Berry’s departure leaves Indiana with 11 players on its roster.
