The Indiana Daily Student will host the fall Housing Fair from 10 a.m. to4 p.m. on Oct. 5 in Dunn Meadow. The one-of-a-kind event gives students the opportunity to meet with on- and off-campus housing representatives. They could also win gift cards or prize baskets from local Bloomington businesses.
The fair brings together over 20 housing vendors, representing over 100 properties and units across Bloomington. Students will have the opportunity to get all their housing questions answered and find a home that best fits their needs for next year.
“I really enjoyed the wide variety of options and apartment companies that were there,” Junior Allyson Nugent, who attended the fall 2019 Housing Fair said. “It really helped me to see all of my options beyond just living on campus.”
In addition to meeting with a variety of housing representatives, students could also win prizes ranging from gift cards for popular Bloomington restaurants to Apple products worth $850.
The proceeds from the Housing Fair will help fund the Indiana Daily Student, IU Student Media’s independent news organization that trains students in news reporting, photography, editing and advertising.
