A student in McNutt Residence Hall reported to their Residence Assistant on Oct. 22 that they had been sexually assaulted a week prior, IU Police Department Deputy Chief Shannon Bunger said.
The student stated that she knew her assaulter and that he is a student as well.
IUPD has told the student to contact the police if she would like to take further action.
