A 28-year-old Bloomington man was shot and killed around 11:25 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of South Walnut Springs Drive, according to a press release from the Bloomington Police Department.
Thomas Pleasant Jr. was found lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound in his neck when officers arrived, according to the release. Officers administered CPR on the man until an ambulance arrived.
Pleasant Jr. was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the release. The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are attempting to locate witnesses.
