According to the agenda posted on the city website, the meeting will follow a regular session format with reports from the fire and police departments and a public comment period. People will be limited to three minutes for speaking according to the agenda.

The board's monthly meeting June 16 was interrupted by a hacker who Zoom-bombed the meeting, according to the Bloomingtonian.

The Board of Public Safety oversees the police and fire departments and members are appointed by the mayor. There are five members on the board.

The packet including the fire and police department reports from the June 16 meeting can be found here.
