Aidan Morris joins USA U-20 Team

IU men’s soccer alumnus and midfielder Aidan Morris joined the training camp roster for the U.S. Under-20 National Team on Wednesday. The team will face Mexico on Jan. 16 and 18. 

Morris is one of five midfielders on a roster of 24. Most players had a minimum of one season in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and 12 played professionally in 2019. 

The former IU midfielder elected to forego his remaining three years of eligibility after signing a Homegrown Player contract with Columbus Crew SC on Tuesday. He was the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman of the Year and scored a team-high 10 of his 12 points against conference opponents.
