The Grunwald Gallery of Art is welcoming a new exhibit entitled “Ongoing Matter” to run from Dec. 3-14. There will also be an opening reception for the exhibit from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 6.
“Ongoing Matter” is a multi-platform collection of posters encouraging political engagement. The collection will focus on the Mueller Report and making its findings more accessible. The exhibit’s goal is to “energize citizens to participate in their own democracy.”
“As graphic designers, the artists in this exhibition consider their charge one of emancipation: using the art of communication to reveal, persuade and propel action,” a press release said.
The exhibit will feature work from 10 different artists and seek to remain nonpartisan.
The Grunwald Gallery is open from 12-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and is free for all. For more information, visit www.soaad.indiana.edu.
