The Bloomington Handmade Market will have its holiday show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Monroe Convention Center. The market is free to attend.

There will be more than 60 different vendors present from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois and will sell items such as clothing, plush toys and bath products.

Among these vendors is the Persisterhood Workshop, a collective of crafters wanting to bring shift political views through its items, which will sell handmade goods with all its proceeds benefiting Girls Inc. of Monroe County.

Local handmade retail store Gather will also sell art made by children it has mentored in its Gather Kids program in the convention center lobby.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization dedicated to one-on-one mentoring relationships with children, will also organize a donation-based gift wrapping station.

Established in 2009, the Bloomington Handmade Market’s Holiday Show will be its 19th event.
